UNFINALIZE
A
CD
‐
RW
When
you
load
a
finalized
CD
‐
RW
disc
and
wish
to
record
additional
materials
on
the
disc,
you
need
to
unfinalize
the
disc
first.
NOTE:

Erase
procedures
are
possible
only
on
a
non
‐
finalized
CD
‐
RW
disc.
y
If
a
CD
‐
RW
disc
has
been
finalized,
unfinalize
it
prior
to
erasure.
y
Only
CD
‐
RW
discs
are
erasable
and
can
be
unfinalized.
1.
Press
the
CD
button
to
select
CD.
2.
Load
a
recorded
CD
‐
RW.
‘—BUSY’
appears
when
a
finalized
disc
is
loaded.
3.
Wait
until
‘BUSY’
disappears
on
the
display,
press
STOP
button.
4.
Press
the
ERASE
button,
‘UNFINLZE’
will
appear
on
the
display.
NOTE:
If
you
wish
to
cancel
unfinalizing
at
this
point,
press
the
STOP
button
(
).
5.
Press
the
(
)
button
to
activate
and
start
unfinalizing
the
disc.
6.
Wait
till
‘NO
TOC
CD
‐
RW’
appears
on
the
left
hand
corner
of
the
screen.
NOTE:
The
unfinalization
time
is
dependent
on
the
contents
that
have
been
recorded,
and
may
take
a
few
minutes
in
some
cases.
ERASE
(CD
‐
RW
ONLY)
It
is
possible
to
erase
the
last
recorded
track
as
well
as
the
whole
disc
on
a
non
‐
finalized
CD
‐
RW
disc.
All
erasing
processes
are
permanent
–
they
cannot
be
undone.
