When the resin insulating tip inside the 

carbon brush is exposed to contact the 

commutator, it will automatically shut off 

the motor. W hen this occurs, both 

carbon brushes should be replaced. 

Keep the carbon brushes clean and 

free to slip in the holders. Both carbon 

brushes should be replaced at the same 

time. Use only identical carbon brushes. 
 
Use a screwdriver to remove the holder 
cap plates. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Use a screwdriver to remove the brush 
holder caps. Take out the worn carbon 
Brushes ,insert the new ones and secure 
the brush holder caps. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

OILFEEDING 

                                                                                                                                                                             
Caution: prior to oil feeding, always 
disconnect  the plug from the power 
supply receptacle. 
 
 Since an oil chamber is built in this 
Electric Hammer, it can be used for 
approximately 20days without supplying 
lubricating oil, assuming that the  

 
 
 
Hammer is used continuously 3~4 hours 
daily. 
Feed oil into the oil tank as described 
below before using this Hammer. Just 
before no oil is visible in the oil gauge 
windows when the device is held upright, 
feed oil to warm it up. Before feeding oil, 
use the provided wrench to remove the 
oil gauge. Be careful not to lose the 
rubber packing attached below the oil 
gauge. 
 
3.  Check the oil level once daily, 
confirming that oil is filled. 
4. After feeding oil, securely clamp the oil 
gauge. 
Note: As an optional accessory, oil for 
the Electric Hammer (one liter) is sold 
separately .Use this oil when oil when oil 
in the tank is depleted. Shell Oil Co. 
ROTELLA #40 (engine oil 

can also be 

used. This oil is sold as Shell filling
