The coarse separator usually needs to be emptied
only when the filter is changed, but heavy use of
some types of electrodes may call for more frequent
emptying.

Switch off the unit. Remove the suction hose.

Loosen the filter indicator hose (B) (only units
with automatic mode).

Turn down the handle (A) and remove the coarse
separator (C). The handle works as a lock for the
coarse separator.

Pull out and dispose the old filter.

Insert a new filter.

Unscrew the locking screw (D) and remove the
outer part.
7
Empty the coarse separator.
8
Check the rubber seal around the separator for
any signs of damage.
9
Reassemble the coarse separator. Lock with the
handle.
NOTE!
The coarse separator is partly locked when
the handle is in an upright position, and
fully locked when it is turned down.
