4 Installation

The Hose Reel 884 can be wall-, floor- or ceiling
mounted according to the pictures.
NOTE!
• Maximum installation height above floor
level is 4 m.
• When choosing the mounting place it should
be notified that the lifetime of the hose can
be affected by chemicals and strong UV- or
heat radiation.
• Select a level surface on which to mount the Hose
Reel 884 and use the template to mark the holes.
Ensure that suitable fixing bolts are used and that
they are secure. The bolts must stand a torque force
of a minimum of 7600 N.
4.1 Hose fitting

WARNING! Risk of personal injury
In case of dismantling the old hose and in-
stalling a new hose, make sure that the original
ratchet clasp is locking the reel in the right pos-
ition before locking with the safety latch.

Install the Hose Reel 884 in the intended place.

Pull the hose through the outlet of the reel and
fasten the end of the hose onto the swivel. Lay
the hose, fully extended from the reel, on the
floor. See maximum hose length on the identifica-
tion label of the reel.
