TRACK INSTALLATION
Install hanger brackets as specified here.
• One-auger or two-auger machines require 18-
7/8” maximum center-to-center spacing.
• Three-auger and four-auger machines require
14 1/8” maximum center-to-center spacing.
• Behlen bins require 16½” center-to-center
spacing for all units.
Note: Brackets may have to be staggered to al-
low for track splicing locations.
If necessary, drill the top lip of the bin wall
as shown in Figure 6. Most bins will be pre-
punched. If drilling is required, however, drill
for 5/16” diameter bolts on the centers speci-
fied above. Note that units installed with two or
more augers measuring 18’ 2” or greater will
require two bolts per bracket. The bin wall will
need to be drilled—but the bracket will NOT
need to be drilled.
Install Hanger Brackets with the 5/16” x 1¼” bin
bolts, head toward the outside. Use two 5/16”
nuts as spacers for the corrugation thickness.
Attach Brackets using 5/16” lock washers and
nuts.
Install Track Clips using 3/8” x 1¼” bolts, lock
washers, and nuts. (Do not tighten bolts at this
time.)
After all the Hanger Brackets and Clips are
installed, start installing the track sections. Note
that the holes in the track must be oriented
toward the bottom. Connect the track ends with
the splice plate. See Figure 7. When connecting
the final track section, cut the track and drill for
3/8” diameter bolts.
