CLEARANCE SETUP FOR BINS 21’ IN
DIAMETER AND SMALLER
Small bins with low roofs may require lower-
than-standard track installation to provide ad-
equate clearance for the grain spreader. Refer
to Figure 5. Use the formula described it Steps
1 and 2 to determine whether there is enough
room above the Stir-Rite hanger channel for the
grain spreader.
Step 1. If “A” plus 25” is greater than “B,” lower
the track by the difference between A+25 and
B.
Step 2. If “A” plus 25 inches is equal to or less
than “B,” use the standard installation method.
Note: If track brackets are lowered, drill the bin
wall from the inside the bin for 5/16” bin bolts.
