Disassembly and Reassembly 3-15

The battery is secured with two-sided tape. Carefully pry the CMOS battery up and remove
it from the system.

Removing the CMOS battery

Buzzer

Use the following steps to remove the system buzzer from the system.

Remove the keyboard, front cover, PC card assembly, and Mini-PCI LAN/modem (if
present) from the system.

Disconnect the buzzer from connector P20 of the main board.

The buzzer is secured with two-sided tape. Carefully pry the buzzer up and remove it from
the system.
