THE
P
RINTER
To ship your printer long distance, follow steps 1 —9 under
“Moving Your Printer Locally” on page vii. Then proceed
with the following instructions.
note:
If you are returning the printer for
service
, you do
not need to return the Power Cord, Toner Modules, Belt
Cartridge, Fuser Oil Bottle, or Fuser Cleaning Roller.
1.
Remove the Fuser Cleaning Roller
(A)
. Make sure the
Fuser Oil Bottle is out.
2.
Open the Tension Release Tabs and insert the orange
Tension Release Pins removed when you originally
unpacked your printer. Insert the Tension Release Pins at
each end of the fuser as shown

3.
Open the Front Cover and remove the Toner Modules
(C)
.
Do not remove the Belt Cartridge first!
4.
Repack the Toner Modules in their original packaging.
5.
Flip up the Belt Cartridge Locking Levers
(D)
.
6.
Remove the Belt Cartridge
(E)
and clean according to
directions found on page 97.
7.
Wrap the Belt Cartridge in its original black wrapper
(F).
