SigmaBlade Gold Warranty Program 

Installation Services 

NEC installatio n services are suggested when implementing an 
NEC Express5800 SigmaBlade Server.  Installatio n services 
are fee-based and  will be cond ucted b y an NEC Engineer and 
or b y a Certified NEC Service Provider. 

 

Req uires preplanning for installation b y NECAM and the 
Custo mer.  An Installatio n Site Preparatio n Guid e will be 
delivered and agreed upo n between the Custo mer and 
NECAM prior to installation. This document  will p rovide an 
outline o f the installatio n plans and processes. 

 

Installatio n will take a minimu m o f o ne (1) day for 
hard ware installation includes; hard ware, op erating system, 
network co nnectio n, co nfiguratio n and ad ministrator 
training.  An ything b eyo nd one (1) day  will req uire 
additio nal fees. 

Relocation Services 

NEC Relocatio n services are available as a fee-b ased service 
delivered b y an NEC Engineer and or an Certified NEC 
Service Provider to help Custo mers protect their IT 
investments b y red ucing risks, including minimal d o wntime, 
that are kno wn to be asso ciated with relo cation. 

 

NECAM or the Certified Service Provider will work with 
the Custo mer to assist  with p lanning and coordination o f the 
mo ve. 

 

Damage caused b y relocatio n witho ut the assistance of NEC 
is not co vered under this warranty pro gram. Please refer to 
the section “W hat is Co vered and What is Not Co vered” for 
more informatio n. 

 

Servers mo ved witho ut the assistance o f NEC may require 
recertificatio n to validate warranty. 

 

The original shipping carton sho uld be retained for limiting 
risks asso ciated with relo catio n.   

Registered Limited Warranty 

 

NEC Corporatio n o f America warrants this Prod uct to be free 
fro m defects in material and workmanship, and agrees to repair 
or replace any part o f the enclosed unit that proves defective 
under these terms and conditio ns.
