Remove the serial blank cover as shown below.

Install the serial cable. 

A)  If a tertiary riser is not attached 

(1)  Position the serial cable as shown below. 

(2)  Attach the serial cable connector. 

(3)  Secure the external connector with screws (x2). 

(4)  Remove the paper backing of the double-sided tape, and press it against the cable at the 

indicated location to fix the cable in place.
