14   Getting Started Guide

Charging the Battery

A – Battery Charging LED

Plug the other end of the AC adapter cable into a grounded 115-volt
AC outlet.

The battery-charging LED lights amber, indicating that the
battery is charging.

„

 

You can also check the power remaining indicator.

When the battery is charged, the following occurs.

The battery-charging LED lights green.

„

 

The power remaining indicator indicates 100%.

Now calibrate and activate your MobilePro (see “Calibrating and
Activating the MobilePro,” in the following section). Calibration must be
done to ensure proper operation of your MobilePro.

You can leave the MobilePro in the cradle and the AC adapter connected
to keep your battery charged. Whenever possible, keep your MobilePro
connected to the AC adapter and a power source. Doing so keeps the
battery charged.
