1.5.2 Inspection on LCD Brightness and Contrast
1) Enter Signal 23 through INPUT1. The screen display is made in all white.
2) Display the BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST tab of the OSM menu.
3) Get BRIGHTNESS highlighted with the
3
and
4
keys.
4) Confirm that the yellow bar is changed by the operation of the (-) and (+) keys, and that the screen
brightness is changed.
5) Confirm that the highlight display is for BRIGHTNESS. Press the RESET key. Then, the confirmation
screen is displayed. Press the SELECT key to make resetting. (The BRIGHTNESS bar is returned fully to
the right.)
6) Use the
3
and
4
keys to obtain CONTRAST displayed in the highlight mode.
7) Confirm that the green bar is changed and the screen brightness is also changed when the (-) and (+)
keys are operated.
8) Get AUTO ADJUST highlighted with the
3
and
4
keys.
9) Press the SELECT key and wait until the OSM display is restored to the former display. At that time,
confirm that the screen is normally displayed.
1.5.3 Inspection on Automatic Adjustment Function
1) Enter Signal 32 through INPUT1. (1-dot loss + Outer frame screen)
2) Display the OSM menu. Use the SELECT key to move as far as to the POSITION tab.
3) Move the cursor to the HORIZONTAL SIZE, using the
3
and
4
keys. Operate the (-) and (+) keys to shift
the H.SIZE to an extent so that the caused difference can be visually perceived.
4) Use the EXIT key and
3
and
4
keys to move as far as to the AUTO ADJUST adjusting tab.
5) Press the SELECT key and execute automatic adjustments by the use of the SELECT key. Confirm that
the screen (POSITION/SIZE/PHASE) is normally adjusted.
1.5.4 Analog Delay Operation Check
1) Enter Signal 32 from INPUT1. (1-dot m Outer frame screen)
2) Display the OSM menu, move it to the POSITION tab with the

and
4
keys, and press the SELECT key.
3) Adjust the cursor to H.SIZE with the
3
and
4
keys, and operate the + key to shift the H.SIZE by +4 steps.
4) Select R DELAY ANALOG in the first tab of the FACTORY mode and make a numerical modification of 0

4 by means of the + key. Confirm that there is an increase in the amount of red vertical
stripes shifted to the right (the amount of leftward protrusion of cyan). Return it to 0 after the completion of
inspection.
5) Similarly, select G DELAY ANALOG and make a numerical modification of 0

4 by means
of the + key. Confirm that there is an increase in the amount of green vertical stripes shifted to the right
(the amount of leftward protrusion of magenta). Return it to 0 after the completion of inspection.
6) Similarly, select B DELAY ANALOG and make a numerical modification of 0

of the + key. Confirm that there is an increase in the amount of blue vertical stripes shifted to the right (the
amount of leftward protrusion of yellow). Return it to 0 after the completion of inspection.
