Connecting Power Cord and Turning On Power
1.
Insert one end of power cord plug into connectors on each power supply unit.
Make sure that plugs are firmly inserted.
2.
Insert another end of power cord into power outlet.
The power is supplied to the product, and the product starts running.
3.
Startup completes within five minutes after power-on.
After that, make sure the following:

System Status LEDs on front panel (Power side) and rear panel (Connector side) light green.
* The LED lights red before lighting green, however, it is not a failure.

The PSU status LEDs on each power supply unit at front panel (Power side) light green.
* In redundant power configuration, if either of the power supply unit is turned on, the PSU
status LED on the other power supply unit lights red.

The FAN Status LEDs on front panel (Power side) and rear panel (Connector side) light
green.
If any of the LEDs does not show the above status, the product may be faulty. Contact your
service representative.
Disconnecting Power Cord and Turning Off Power
Important
Make sure the system status before turning off the power. If the product is
halted while the system is running, I/O operation in progress will not be
secured.
1.
Unplug the power cord from power outlet. The power supply to the product is shut off.
2.
Make sure that PSU status LED and System Status LED are unlit.
3.
Disconnect power cords from connectors on each power supply unit.
CAUTION
Do not turn off the product while the system is running.
System failure might occur. Make sure to shutdown the connected devices, or let them not
affect system operation before shutdown the product.
