Chapter 2  Preparations 

 

 

4.  Draw the cable into the chassis and mount the front panel bracket on the server chassis in the 

reverse order of the removal procedure. 

 

Connecting to a RAID Controller

 

1.  Connect another connector of the battery control cable to the connector on the RAID controller. 

Check the form of the connector and connect the cable straight into the connector. Be careful not 
to press it in at an angle when connecting. 
 

Position of the connector

   

Connect the cable to the connector shown in the figure below. 

 
 

 

Arrange the battery cable as shown in 
the figure. 

With cable tie attached, fixed the battery 
cable to the bracket as shown in the figure.
