Security
settings allows you to turn on/off the side key lock, dial lock, automatic lock and USIM lock. You can
also change code numbers: PIN1/ PIN2,the handset code and private PIN.

Locks
Side key lock
: Turns the side key lock function on/off. This
function cancels any side key operation while the handset is
closed.
Dial Lock:
Turns on/off the dial lock function. This function
cancels any key operation except emergency calls, answering a
call by the
Start
key, rejecting a call by the
End
key, pressing
and holding the
End
key to turn e616 on/off, earpiece volume
control by the
Up
or
Down
key while talking, and turning off the
alarm by any key. To turn the dial lock function on or off, the
handset code is required. Refer to
New handset code
in the
next item for details on the handset code.
Auto lock
: Turns on/off the automatic lock function. With
Auto
lock
on, the handset will be protected by
Dial lock
function
automatically on Power on. After entering PIN1, the handset will
be in dial lock status.
