Before initial start-up, please make sure that all components of the SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses are
present and familiarize yourself with the connections, the button and the display of the SaHoMa®-II control unit.
You will find the designations of the individual components in the inside cover of these operating instructions.
This way, you can unfold this important information while reading the operating instructions and have it in
view at all times.

Warning
The SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses contains small parts that can be swallowed. Therefore, always keep
it out of the reach of children or animals. If parts are accidentally swallowed, consult a doctor/veterinarian
immediately!

Getting started with the SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses
Read the instructions for use carefully before initial start-up and be sure to keep the instructions for use in a
safe place.
Then please follow the steps described below to start with the SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses.
2.1. Preparing the horse for the inhalation
Before putting on the SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses, put the desired halter on your horse and make sure
that it is firmly seated.

Tip
We recommend the use of a tight-fitting halter with multiple adjustment options to ensure an optimal seal of
the SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses on the horse‘s head. Knotted halters and very loose-fitting halters are
not suitable, as these would lead to a too loose fit of the SaHoMa®-II inhalation set for horses. When choosing
a halter, also make sure that it has good neck padding for a more comfortable fit for your horse.
