output.

Possible Causes:

•     Dirty or clogged membrane of the SaHoMa®-II mesh

nebulization unit

•    Mechanically damaged membrane of the SaHoMa®-II mesh

nebulization unit (e. g. in case of improper handling)

•   The end of the lifespan of the SaHoMa®-II mesh nebulization unit

has been reached or exceeded

• The room or ambient temperature is below 10° C

Elimination:

(chapter 4.2)

•   Replacement of the SaHoMa®-II mesh nebulization unit

(chapter 9)

•   Please wait approx. 30 minutes until the system has adjusted to

room temperature and only fill and nebulize inhalation solutions

that are at room temperature.

•    Connect a SaHoMa®-II mesh nebulization unit filled with isotonic

saline solution (NaCl 0.9 %), allow the device to nebulize for

10 seconds and then switch it off again manually and switch it on

again in the desired program

The SaHoMa®-II control unit

switches off

unintentionally

during the inhalation process despite

a remaining residual quantity.

Possible Causes:

•   Air bubbles on the membrane of the  SaHoMa®-II mesh

nebulization unit

•  Use of a foaming medication suggesting a filling in form

of foam residues

Elimination:

•  Light tapping of the SaHoMa®-II
•  mesh nebulization unit to loosen the air bubbles;

if necessary restart the SaHoMa®-II control unit

•  Proper dilution of foaming medications according to the list

of medications; nebulization in program 2 under constant obser-
