Replacing the Motherboard

Note:

The Motherboard service assembly includes the sheet metal tray

and the PCI Tree Card.

Verify the board’s jumper settings. (See the

Processor Board

section)

Remove the CPU, Lithium Battery, and memory modules from the
old Motherboard assembly and install them on the new board. See
the

Processor Board

section later in this chapter for instructions how

to replace these items.

Follow the

Removing the Motherboard

instructions in reverse.

After powering up the terminal to verify that it is fully functional
you should re-flash the BIOS to ensure that it has the latest version.
