1.4 Choose the correct size
An important consideration when selecting the size of your new bike is frame clearance - that is, the distance between you and the top tube of the bike when you
stand on it with your feet on the ground. For most bikes, this distance should be at least 1 "(25mm). If you choose a mountain bike, it is recommended to have at
least 2" (50mm) of clearance. Your dealer can help you find a bike with the correct dimensions for you.
