• Default write disk: Select USB to have the tablet
save files and apps to built-in memory by default.
• Internal storage: Shows how much memory is left
available to be used. This total does not count the
amount of memory used by files required by the
tablet to run such as the operating system.
• Mount/Unmount SD card: When a microSD card
is installed, the tablet will automatically mount
the card to make it available for use. Unmount the
card before removing it from the tablet to prevent
data corruption.
Battery
Adjust the battery options of the tablet.
Apps
The Apps settings allow you to adjust several aspects
of the way your tablet uses memory.
You’ll see four tabs at the top of the screen; swipe left/
right to change tabs. Each tab displays a list of apps or
their components.
To learn about the Apps options, refer to the section
“Managing & Using Apps > Apps Settings and Options”.
Users
If you share your tablet with other people, you can set
up different profiles for each user. Each user can have a
profile with their own accounts, customized lock screens,
home screens, and other settings.
Set up your own user account first, then hand the tab-
let over to another person. Allow them to set up their
own space.
What each user can do with the tablet will be nearly
the same. However, only the tablet’s owner can remove
any user completely, or uninstall other user’s apps.
(The first user is automatically set to be the owner.)
To add a new user, you must be the owner.
• Tap on Add User in the upper right corner of the
screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to com-
plete the process.
