An example of the
Zoom
screen is shown below.
The
Full Range Section
displays the water depth
(Range) between 0 to 30 metres. The
Zoom Section
displays a range of depth between 14 and 29 metres.
Keys may have different uses in other screens.
Press the
Backlight / Power
key to turn
the unit on. When on, hold for 3 secs to turn the
power off
(Note 1)
or press (1 sec. or less) to
activate the backlight function. A further single
press steps the backlight level from 0 to 6 then
to 0 again. A bar indicating the backlight level
appears at the bottom of the screen.
Holding for 1 sec switches between
Auto
and
Manual Gain
. When using
Manual
Gain
a press decreases the gain (sensitivity).
As above but a press increases the
gain (sensitivity).
Holding for 1 sec switches between
Auto
and
Manual Range
. When using
Manual Range
a press increases the range.
As above but a press decreases the range.
Press to move the
Zoom Bar
up, or if
Bottom Lock
is on, a press turns
Bottom
Lock
off.
Press to increase the length of the
Zoom Bar
. This increases the range of the
Zoom Section
.
Press to move the
Zoom Bar
down, or
hold to turn the
Bottom Lock
on.
Press to decrease the length of the
Zoom Bar
, which decreases the range of
the
Zoom Section
.
Press to go to the
Main Menu
screen. A
press when in the menu structure takes
you one level closer to the
Main Menu
screen.
Enters the
Alarms
setup menu; or when
an alarm is sounding a press of this key
acknowledges then turns the beeper off.
The alarm remains enabled and will sound
again when the condition is next met.
