Antenna
onnecting the
esktop Antenna
An optional desktop antenna is available for the Ripwave Wireless
Broadband Access Card. This antenna connects to the Card and
then sits on a surface next to the laptop. The laptop should be used
preferably on a desk when the Card is installed. Using the laptop
with the Card close to the body, such as on the lap, is undesirable.

To connect the desktop antenna to the Card, you must first remove
the antenna attached to the Card. To remove the antenna, turn the
antenna down so that it is lying parallel with the Card. Grasp the
base of the antenna near its connection point and firmly pull the
antenna away from the card.

serting its connector into the port on the Card.
