Error Code Guide
Error Code Reason Self-diagnostic / Action
E001 Water is boiling inside
the heat exchanger 1. Clean the inlet water strainer (part#25).
2. Check the heat exchanger; remove
and clean with a cleaning solution.
E002 Low pressure on heating
side 1. Turn off the system.
2. Turn the unit back on.
E003 Ignition failure 1. Check to see if the main gas
supply valve is open.
2. Check that the power is “ON”.
3. Check the igniter for spark (part#18).
E004 False flame detection 1. Ensure ground wire is connected.
2. Check the igniter for spark.
E005 Space Heating supply :
Thermostat-open 1. Check the thermostat.
2. Replace the thermostat.
E006 Space Heating supply :
Thermostat -closed 1. Check the thermostat.
2. Replace the thermostat.
E007 DHW Hot water supply:
thermostat -open 1. Check the thermostat.
2. Replace the thermostat.
E008 DHW Hot water supply:
thermostat -short 1. Check the thermostat.
2. Replace the thermostat.
E009 Abnormal fan motor
activity 1. Check and clean the intake air filter.
2. Check and clean the fan motor.
E010 Abnormal air pressure 1. Check the exhaust pipe for
obstructions.
2. Check and clean the intake air filter.
E011 High pressure on heating
side 1. Turn off the system.
2. Remove pump drain coke.
3. Drain water to release pressure
4. Re-plug the pump
5. Turn the unit back on.
E012 Flame loss 1. Check the main gas line (valve open?).
2. Check the intake air pipe.
3. Check ground wire.
4. Check power supply.
E013 Abnormal Pump Activity 1. Check the pump.
2. Replace the pump.
