Getting Started with VirtualBench
•
Number of Samples per Measurement—Determines the number of
measurements to take during a given measurement time. If the system
takes more than one measurement, it displays the average of the
measurements.

front panel items.
Measuring a Signal
Complete these steps to start measuring signals with
VirtualBench-Counter:
1.
Configure VirtualBench-Counter.
a.
Select Edit»Settings on the front panel.
b.
Select the General tab, as shown in Figure 11-2.

Select the device you want to use. The Device list displays only
devices you have configured successfully in the Measurement &
Automation Explorer.

Select the Counter to measure your signal.

Click OK.

Measure frequency, totalize, period, high pulse width, low pulse width,
or duty cycle. This feature works with devices that have either
DAQ-STC or NI-TIO based counters.
