A computer with an available PXI or PCI slot
NI 7340 or NI 7350 motion controller
UMI-7764 or UMI-7772/74
68-pin cable to connect your NI UMI and motion controller

UMI to AKD drive cable appropriate for the UMI you are using
+24 VDC power supply for the NI UMI-7772/74 and AKD servo drive

NI or third-party servo motor and encoder
Note
AKM series servo motors available from NI contain built-in encoders and
come pre-wired for use with the AKD servo drive. National Instruments recommends
using one of these motors for the best user experience and system performance.
