About This Manual
This manual contains instructions to help you install and configure
the National Instruments GPIB-ENET/100 and NI-488.2 for HP-UX.
The NI-488.2 software included in this kit is intended for use with
Hewlett-Packard 9000 Series 700 workstations running HP-UX
version 9.01 or higher.
This manual assumes that you are familiar with HP-UX and with Ethernet
and Internet networks, and that you have super-user privilege. This manual
also assumes your computer is connected to an Ethernet network and you
have TCP/IP installed on your machine, which is required before you can
use the driver software for the GPIB-ENET/100.
