Working with the device guide

 Turn the cooking time button clockwise and 

set it to the desired time.

• 

As the pressure inside the appliance increas

-

es, the steam evacuate valve moves upwards, 

causing the lid of the appliance to lock, and the 

lid will not open until the pressure inside the 

pressure cooker is completely reduced.  When 

the device is turned on, the indicator light will 

also turn on and the timer button will move in 

the opposite direction.

Troubleshooting 

Problem 

Possible cause 

Solution 

Device lid is difficult to 

close.  

The leaking washer or 

cooking pot is not in place 

properly.

Replace the leak washer or 

cooking pot correctly.

The safety valve is blocked.   Check the safety valve and 

clean if it clogs.

Device lid is difficult 

to open.  

The safety valve or steam 

evacuate valve is blocked.

Check the safety valve and the 

steam evacuate valve and open 

the blocked vents.  If the holes 

do not open, contact NASA 

Electric After-Sales Service.

There is steam pressure 

inside the pressure cooker 

housing.  

Wait for the steam pressure to 

decrease, then open the device 

lid.

Water leaks from the 

inner lid.  

  Steam evacuate valves 

or safety valves are not 

installed in place.  

Install the steam evacuate valve 

or safety valve in place.

Leaking washer is worn.  

Replace the leaking washer.

Steam evacuate does 

not stop.  

The steam evacuate valve 

is in the open position.  

Close the steam evacuate valve.
