3.2 hard-wiring installation
Hard-Wiring Connection
It is necessary to hard-wire this appliance. A qualifi ed electrician must wire the appliance directly to the household
wiring. The wire and power supply breaker must rated for 120V minimum 15 amps. Use 14AWG/2 for 120V and
14AWG/3 for 240V.
This appliance must be electrically connected and grounded in accordance with local codes, if hard-wired. In the
absence of local codes, use the current CSA C22.1 CANADIAN ELECTRICAL CODE in Canada or the current
ANSI/NFPA 70 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE in the United States.
