2. HOW TO PLAY
This is a gun shooting game for one or two players.
Insert the required coin/s to establish credit, then press the corresponding
Start button for the gun to be used.
The object of the game is to shoot the characters on the screen without
being struck by the characters.
Up to eight bullets can be fired consecutively from the gun.
To reload the gun pull the trigger whilst aiming the gun off screen.
First-aid kits and Bonus items (maneki-neko : the beckoning figure of a
cat displayed in shops to bring good luck) sometimes appear during the
game. Shoot a First-aid kit to restore a players life. Shoot the Bonus item
to add a bonus score.
Boss characters appear on some stages. Shoot the Boss character to
clear that stage.
When playing alone, another player can join in during the game by
establishing credit and pressing the Start button for the vacant gun
position.
The players life is reduced when attacked by the enemy characters.
When all the players lives are lost a continue screen appears.
Establishing credit and pressing the Start button during this period allows
the player to continue at the start of the stage they were playing.
The game is over if no action is taken during the continue period.
The player can enter their name if their final score is one of the ten best
scores of the day. The ten best scores of the day are the ten best scores
from when the game power was switched ON. Switching the game power
OFF resets the ten best scores and returns them to the default setting.
The ten best players are displayed as THE TEN BEST PLAYERS OF THE
DAY on the ranking screen in attract mode.
The top three players names and their scores are not cleared when the
game power is switched OFF. (The top three scores can be reset
manually in Game Options in test mode.)
The top three players are displayed as TOP THREE PLAYERS on the
ranking screen in attract mode.
