Replacing the Sword
1.
Cut the rope of the old sword from the hook.
2.
By referring to the diagram below, tie the rope of the new sword to the hoop
securely
As shown below, attach the rope with a bowline knot.
(a)
Make a loop as shown below, and pass the free end of the rope through the
loop.
(b)
Pass the free end under the rope, and pull it through the loop again.
(c)
Pull the free end of the rope, making sure that the loop stays the correct
size.
(d)
Pull both ends of the rope near the knot to tighten the knot.
3.
Attach a Ty-Wrap to the end of the rope to prevent it from becoming loose.
Cut off the excess from the #Ty-Wrap.
Note:
To prevent injury, make sure that the end of Ty-Wrap is not sharp or
pointed.
