When the engine is running and idling, press the lock off lever (2) and then press the throttle lever (3) to start working.
Operation (Fig. 28)
•
When using a nylon cutter, make sure to bump the cutter head on a hard surface to feed the line.
•
If any problems are encountered, turn the engine switch (1) to the OFF position to stop the engine.
•
If the tool is hot, the throttle lever (3) can be set to the ON position directly when restarting the unit.
Caution: Do not start the motor in tall grass.
Warning: When the engine has been switched off, the cutter continues running for several seconds. Keep your hands
and legs away from the cutting attachment until it has come to a standstill.
•
Do not spray the unit with water. Ingress of water may damage the engine and electrical connections.
•
Clean the unit with a cloth or a hand brush.
Warning: Before performing any maintenance or cleaning work, always turn off the engine.

Expert inspection is required:

Resharpening and replacement of the blade must only be carried out by technicians of the authorized service department of the
manufacturer.
Resharpening and replacing the blade
1.
Once the engine has cooled, remove the spark plug using a spark plug socket wrench.
2.
Clean the spark plug with a wire brush.
3.
Using a feeler gauge, set the gap to 0.6-0.7 mm.
4.
Screw in the spark plug carefully by hand, to avoid cross-threading.
5.
After the spark plug has seated, tighten with a spark plug socket wrench to compress the washer.
Changing and cleaning the spark plug (Fig. 29)
1.
Unclip the air filter cover.
2.
Remove the sponge filter element.
3.
To avoid objects falling into the air tank, replace the air filter cover.
4.
Wash the filter element in warm soap water, rinse and allow it to air dry.

STORAGE
After stopping work with the tool, stop the engine and allow the motor to cool down. Afterwards, clean the unit thoroughly and store it in a dry room.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Warning: Before performing any maintenance or cleaning work, always turn off the engine and wait until the cutter has come to a standstill.
1. Engine does not run
•
Reassemble the blade or nylon cutter.
•
Check the fuel level in the tank.
2. Engine power drops
•
Have the blade resharpened/replaced by technicians of the authorized service department of the manufacturer.
3. The temperature of the tool is too high
•
Stop the tool and let it cool down. Take regular breaks when operating the tool to avoid overheating.
