Common - NOR
= Relay closes (makes circuit)
when door release button on
handset or internal exit button is
pressed. This setting is used
when operating a fail secure
(locked) - power to unlock
electric release.

The use of a varistor or diode protects electrical equipment from
transient voltage spikes.

or electro-magnet.
Respect polarity of the
diode. Incorrect fitting of

Varistor is polarity
insensitive.
