7-4 Replacing the Tire
There are two options to replace the tire. You can choose either way which it would be convenient with you.
7-4-1 Replacing the Tire (Method A)
(1) With the CONPAL unit mounted to the Rollator, loosen the three main body installation bolts and remove the
wheel (outer) and tire.
(Figure 12)
(2) Install the new tire, aligning the tire to the angularities of the wheel. (Figure 13)
(3) Install the wheel (outer), aligning the wheel (outer) to the wheel (inner).
(4) Tighten the three main body installation bolts of the new product provided with the replacement tire at the
specified torque (12.5 ± 10% Nm).
(5) Verify that the brake operates on both the left and right wheels.
・
Securely tighten the main body installation bolts. Inadequate tightening results in the risk of installation
area play and tire disengagement.
・
Do not insert fingers into the adjustment window during replacement. Finger insertion results in the risk of
injury.
・
Do not disassemble other sections.
Doing so may cause the brake to not work, resulting in a serious
accident.
・
After tire replacement, always verify that the brakes work prior to use.
