System Info
System info provides information on each port, as shown in the example below. Note that this is real time
status, and some parameters (such as Rate, Duplex, and Crossover) will oscillate if not linked and not forced.
To see forced settings, go to switch/ports/info.

Restoring defaults
Restoring factory defaults has these affects (on a –A unit):
N-View
TM
is enabled.
IGMP Snooping is enabled.
Query mode is auto and Query Frame Source IP is based on the switch’s MAC Address.
Router ports mode is auto detect and there are no Manually Selected Router Ports.
The Multicast addresses and group members are cleared.
After firmware version 8.09, the Router Multicast Data Filter is enabled on all ports.
Filtering:
Broadcast Filter is disabled. ( All ports receive broadcast messages. )
Static Multicast Filter is cleared.
Tagged QOS is disabled and the threshold is set to 4. Port QOS is disabled and no ports are chosen.
Mirroring is disabled.
The default source port is set to 1.
The default capture (destination) port is set to 2. (when enabled)
Both TX and RX are set to be mirrored (when enabled).
VLAN is disabled, tagged vlan is selected, and all VLAN groups are cleared (no VIDs and no
members), except group1 has a VID of 1 and all ports as members (when enabled).
Incoming untagged pkts to all ports are discarded.
Trunking is disabled.
Group1 active and Group2 inactive (when enabled).
Aging is enabled and the default is 300 seconds, except it is 20 seconds for the 508FX2 and 526FX.
All RJ45 ports are set for auto-sensing. All FX ports are set to 100 MHz and Full Duplex.
The MAC address, model number, and firmware version are protected settings. These settings are
unaffected by restoring factory defaults.
