Never place unit where the power cord can be pulled.

• Do not lift, carry, hang, or pull the product by the power cord.
• If the adaptor sustains damage, you must stop using this product immediately
and contact the HoMedics Service Center. (See the warranty section for the

ASSEMBLY AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Unpack the product and check to make sure the adaptor is included (Fig 1).
2. This unit is powered by a AC adaptor, which is included or by four “AA” batteries,
which are not included.
3. Attach the adaptor to the jack located on the back of the unit and insert the
cord into your standard household outlet.
4. To install batteries, use a coin to turn the battery compartment door screw located on the
bottom of the product to the open position (Fig. 4). Open the battery compartment door.
Insert four “AA” batteries into the compartment according to the polarity direction indicated.
Close the compartment door, use a coin to tur door screw to the locked position.
