3 Assembly
The assembly of this product is described below.
3.1 Removal of protective packaging material
Protective packaging material is attached in the following locations of this product.
Remove all protective packaging material according to the following procedure.
1. Remove tape from all parts of the product.
CAUTION
Be careful not to pinch your fingers when opening and closing the maintenance cover.
NOTE
NOTE
Make sure that the Y-bare cable inside the front cover is as follows when the product is tilted to carry in:
The Y-bare cable is not fallen down or is not out of position.
The Y-rail cover is not interfered by the Y-bare cable.
2. Using the screwdriver attached to the product, the
screw that is fixing the head unit fixture material is
loosened.

3. Remove the head unit.
4. Remove the protective packaging material from
the bottom of the purge plate.

Print head cap
NOTE
NOTE
The print head cap is wrapped at the shipment. Ensure
to remove the vinyl plastic wrapping when using the
product.
5. Close the maintenance cover.
