SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Handle and use the gas cartridge with care

Do not burn an empty gas cartridge or place it near an open flame because it may explode. Puncture the emp-

ty cartridge with a nail or another sharp object before disposing of it.

Use only for cooking

The stove is intended for cooking only. Other types of use, such as drying clothes or lighting charcoal, may

cause a fire.

Do not overheat

A large pan may cause the stove to overheat.

Do not allow boiling liquids to overheat

If liquid accidentally boils over onto the burner, switch the power off and wipe the stove with a dry cloth. You

can also wash the burner with detergent before drying it.

Remain calm if an accident occurs

Turn the regulator clockwise to OFF, and lift the cartridge locking lever up.

Check the stove for gas leaks

Make sure that the valve of the gas cartridge is properly in place and the fixing spring matches with the car-

tridge collar notch.

Choose a spot that is not windy

Wind reduces the performance of the stove and can extinguish the flame.

Choose a fire-resistant spot

Avoid spots in close proximity to combustible materials/objects or under shelves because they catch fire easily.

Maintain a distance of at least 15 cm between walls and the stove.

Outdoor use

Choose a shady spot that is not directly exposed to sunlight. Place the stove on a sturdy, fire-resistant base,

which separates the stove from the ground.

Use saucepans and pans

with a diameter of no more than 180 mm. Do not overheat.

Note:

Make sure that the drip pan and the regulator are set correctly. The drip pan and the pan trivet should be

facing up and the regulator should be in the OFF position before the gas cartridge can be locked for use. If ei-

ther of these preconditions is not realised, then the cartridge locking lever cannot be pressed down.

location where the leak may be detected and stopped. If you wish to check for leaks on your appliance, do it

outside. Do not try to detect leaks using a flame, use soapy water.

In case the pressure sensitive safety device triggers it means that a critical pressure level is reached in the car-

tridge so the appliance must not be used before it has completely cool down. Do not bypass the pressure sen-

sitive safety device.

CAUTION: accessible parts may become very hot. Keep young children away from the appliance.

Store the appliance in a cool, dry and well ventilated area, away from the children.
