Operational and Maintenance Manual
Before Operation
For your safety and to maximize the service life of your Wire Winder, it is very
important to check your equipment’s condition before commencing operation.
Be sure to take care of any problem you find, or have the manufacturer correct
it.
Before beginning your pre-operation checks, be sure that the Wire Winder is
stable & level
Setting up.
•
Attach the Wire Winder to the vehicle’s hitch (burder or eurohitch) as
per the vehicles operating manual.
•
Connect hydraulic fittings.
•
Fit or check fitment of spool top, spool top wedge, wedge pin and top
brace.
Check the General Condition of the Wire Winder.
•
Look around for signs of oil leaks from the Hydraulic lines and motor.
•
Remove any excess dirt or debris, from around any of the equipment.
•
Check Wire Winder is securely attached to vehicle hitch.
•
Check that all fasteners are tightened.
•
Look for any signs of damage.
•
Remove any wire that may still be attached to the spool or other
parts of the Wire Winder
•
Check motor operation.
•
Check bearing for excessive wear, play, vibration or noise.
WARNING
Improper maintaining of your Wire Winder, or failing to correct
a problem before operation, could cause malfunction that could
lend to serious injuries or death.
Always perform daily checklist inspection before every
operation, and correct any problem.
