ENGINE MAINTENANCE
Spark Plug
1. Remove and clean the spark plug (Figure 48) with a
wire brush.

2. Measure the spark plug gap (Figure 48) with a
feeler gauge. The spark plug gap should measure
0.028–0.031 inch (0.7–0.8 mm). Adjust the spark plug
gap as needed by bending the side electrode.

Engine Oil
Refer to Figure 49.

1. Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and set aside.
2. Remove the oil drain bolt and sealing washer. Allow the
oil to drain into a suitable container through the drain
hole in the spray cart frame.
3. Reinstall the oil drain bolt and sealing washer, and
tighten securely.
4. Add engine oil as recommended in Table 6. For engine
oil capacity, see Table 2.

5. Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick.
