3. Turn the RF module over, and locate the left-hand switch of
the two switches (Switch 1 = “France”):
x
Switch 1 “France” to ON position
(towards transmitter aerial)
= “Restricted frequency range ON” mode.

Switch 2 “France” to OFF position
= “Restricted frequency range OFF” mode.
Default setting
= “Restricted frequency range OFF” mode.

Caution:
use a small screwdriver to operate the switch -
never use a pencil!

transmitter once more (

is fitted with a socket
marked “COM.” to which the MULTIPLEX Telemetry-Display can
be connected (

The “COM.” socket is located at top left on the top face of the
HFMG3 M-LINK 2.4 GHz RF module
. The pin assignment for
the socket is printed on the label.
If you install the Telemetry-Display, and use telemetry-capable
M-LINK receivers and sensors, you can exploit the telemetry
functionality of the M-LINK system.
For information on connecting the Telemetry-Display, and full
product specifications, please refer to the operating instructions
supplied with the unit.

PDATING THE

MODULE
The
2.4 GHz HFMG3 M-LINK RF module
can be updated via
the “COM.” socket, and is therefore future-proof.
The “COM.” socket is located at top left on the top face of the
HFMG3 M-LINK 2.4 GHz RF module
. The pin assignment for
the socket is printed on the label.
To update the module you require the MULTIPLEX Launcher PC
program, which is available as a free download from the website
www.multiplex-rc.de. You will also need the UNI USB PC lead
(
# 8 5149
).

ONFORMITY DECLARATION
This device has been assessed and approved in
accordance with European harmonised directives.
This means that you possess a product whose design and
construction fulfil the protective aims of the European Com-
munity designed to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
The detailed CE conformity declaration can be downloaded in
the form of a PDF file from the Internet under www.multiplex-
rc.de. It is located in the DOWNLOADS area under PRODUKT-
INFOS.

ISPOSAL NOTES
Electrical equipment marked with the cancelled waste
bin symbol must not be discarded in the standard
household waste; instead it should be taken to a sui-
table specialist disposal system.
In the countries of the EU (European Union) electrical
equipment must not be discarded via the normal
domestic refuse system (WEEE - Waste of Electrical and
Electronic Equipment, Directive 2002/96/EG). You can take
unwanted equipment to your nearest local authority waste
collection point or recycling centre. There the equipment will be
disposed of correctly and at no cost to you.
By returning your unwanted equipment you can make an
important contribution to the protection of the environment!
