For measurements under case A, see Paragraphs 7.3 & 7.4.
For measurements under case B, proceed as follows:
Turn the switch until the Hz symbol is displayed.
"OL" indicates an overrange.
7.11 Temperature Measurements
Read the safety guidelines before use.
Automatic measuring ranges: -20 to + 400°C (3 range s) on the
switch position
0.1°C
°C, -20 to 1000°C (3 ranges) on the switch
position
1°C
°C.
1.
Set the switch to
0.1°C
°C to measure temperatures below
400°C, or
1°C
°C for temperatures above 400°C.
2.
Insert the sensor's red terminal in the mA°C termi nal and the
probe's black terminal in the COM terminal.
3.
Place the sensitive part of the thermocouple probe in the
zone to be measured and read the value.
"OL" indicates an overrange.
Note : Temperatures can only be measured by using both an
external temperature sensor (thermocouple K) with the DMM107.
If no external sensor is available, the values displayed will only
show the dvice’s internal correction system attempting to improve
the precision of the measurement.
7.12 HOLD Function
Freezes the reading (Data Hold); the H symbol is displayed when
the function is enabled. Press again to disable the function. In this
mode, AUTO POWER OFF is automatically disabled.
7.13 FUNC. Function
In the switch positions V, 400 mA and 10 A, the FUNC. key
toggles between DC and AC.
In the ohm position, the FUNC. key is used to step through the
test functions: diodes, continuity, capacitance and resistance.
