. Right-Click with the mouse on “My Computer”, select “Administration” and on
the menu select “Drive Administration”

. The operational interface will show in the computer the subarea formatting
after the operational system.

Attention: On Windows 2000 and XP, the standard

choice is

NTFS. However, you may also choose to

format the drive with the option of FAT32 ONLY if the
drive is less or equal to 32GB.

6.2

Go to “My Computer”, find the removable disk, rightclick with the mouse on

it and select “Format” on the menu.

Follow the instructions to complete the formatting process.

PS: With this formatting method, your drive will have

only

one partition with the highest capacity possible,

which also is highly recommended.

7. Backup file software

Please look up the interface help of the software in order to install and use of
the backup software.
