4. Hardware configuration
a. Connect your hard disk properly to the HDD SATA case´s port.
b. Case Connect to your computer via USB cable.
c. The computer should detect the new hardware.
d. Under Windows 2000/XP, the driver´s configuration will not be necessary.
Please skip to section 6.0 to format your HDD drive.
5. Installation
It´s not necessary to install any driver.
IMPORTANT: Every time you disconnect the HDD SATA case from your
computer, you must eject it (you will find it in the inferior right side of your
desktop). If you pull the USB cable WITHOUT ejecting the device, it is possible to
have data loss or damage the device.
6. Formatting your Hard Disk
(If the drive it’s already showing on “My Computer, please skip to the section
6.2).
6.1
When a new drive is not partitioned nor formatted, usually it is not showed
automatically on “My Computer” right in the first time. Please follow the next
steps as following:
