8.1.2 Engine – Barring with starting system
Preconditions

External pushbutton 'Bar engine without starting' is provided.
DANGER
Rotating and moving engine parts.
Risk of crushing, danger of parts of the body being caught or pulled in!
• Before cranking the engine with starter system, make sure that there are no persons in the engine's
danger zone.
Engine – Barring with starting system
1.
Press pushbutton 'Bar engine without starting' and keep depressed.
2.
Let the crankshaft rotate until oil pressure is indicated, but not longer than 10 seconds.
3.
Repeat procedure after approx. 20 seconds if necessary.
