2. Remove the spacer and wave washer between the
left hand side wheel and the trimmer base.
See Figure 21.
3. Slide the axle and wheel to the right.
Debris Screen
There is a debris screen over the cooling fan, the
screen is necessary to prevent the cooling fins from get-
ting clogged with trimming debris.The trimmer should not
be operated if the screen is clogged or covered. The
screen will need cleaned occasionally with normal mainte-
nance.
To remove/replace the debris screen:
1. Use a screw driver and push the front locking tab
inward to release the screen from the engine.
