CPU, Heatsink, and Fan Duct

Locate the first CPU socket. (The CPU has a plastic cap on it to protect the contact
from damage. Before installing the CPU, always cover it to protect the socket
pins.)
3.
Remove the plastic cap from the load plate. The pins of the socket reveal.
4.
Raise the load lever up to its full extent. 5.
Open the load plate.

On top of the CPU is a fan duct designed to enhance heat dissipation of the CPU.
Lift up & remove the fan duct before installing the CPU.
