Installing AMD Athlon64 CPU Cooler Set
W hen you are installing the CPU,
make sure the CPU has a heat sink and
a cooling fan attached on the top to prevent overheating.
If you do not have
the heat sink and cooling fan, contact your dealer to purchase and install them before
turning on the computer.
1. Detach the shield off the backplate

paster.
2. Turn over the mainboard, and install
the backplate to the proper position.
3. Turn over the mainboard again, and
plac e the mainboard on the f lat
surface. Locate the two screw holes
of the mainboard.
4. Align the retention mechanism and
the backplate.
Fix the retention mechanism and the
backplate with two screws.
