call and to put the current call on hold. Press and hold the Central
button (1) for 3 seconds to switch between two calls. Press the Central button (1) once during the 2
nd
call, to end one of the
two calls.
Transferring calls from the Blue Alert to the mobile phone and back: •
During a conversation, press the MODE button (4) twice to continue the conversation through your mobile phone. Press the
Central button (1) once to transfer the call back to the Blue Alert.
2. GPS SWITCH
(to switch the GPS warning system function on or off)
To switch the GPS warning system function on: •
Slide the GPS Switch (2) to the right. Your unit is in ON position (Blue LED indicator is flashing).
You will hear “ Fasten your seatbelt. Be careful. ”
(= ‘ready’) will now appear on the display.
To switch the GPS warning system function off: •
(No speed camera warnings will be given in this position!)
Slide the GPS switch (2) to the left. Your unit is in ON position. The display will turn off.
Important!
‘GPS Only’ is not an option! You always need a Bluetooth
®
connection with your mobile phone to activate the GPS warning
system.

Adjusting the volume of the Bluetooth •

carkit:
Press (+) to increase the volume level.
Press (-) to decrease the volume level.
Language selection of the Bluetooth •
®
carkit:
Press and hold the Volume button (+) for 3 seconds. You will hear “ Select language ” OR “ Séléctionner la langue ” OR
“ Seleziona la lingua ” OR “ Sprache auswählen ” OR “ Seleccionar lengua ”. Repeat the process to select the desired
language in the following order of English – French – Italian – German – Spanish.
Deleting the phonebook memory: •
In Standby mode, press and hold both Volume buttons (+) & (-) simultaneously for 3 seconds to delete the complete phonebook
memory from the Blue Alert. You will hear “ Phonebook deleted ”.
Turning TTS (TEXT-TO-SPEECH) on or off: •
In Standby mode, press the Volume buttons (-) for 3 seconds to turn the Text-To-Speech function ON or OFF. You will hear
“ Voice prompts ON ” or “ Voice prompts OFF ” depending on the current status.
