Copy the contacts via Bluetooth

to the Blue Alert (**).
As soon as the contacts are saved into the Blue Alert, you will hear: ‘

Step 3: on the Blue Alert.
Press the Central button (1) once to re-activate the Bluetooth

connection. You will hear: ‘
Phone is ready
for use’
.
(*) The Blue Alert and the mobile phone will automatically disconnect.
(**) Some mobile phones describe this function as ‘
send business card’
.
(***) This can take several minutes. (Depending on which type of mobile phone you have and the size of your phone
book, this could take more than 10 minutes).
2. Via the handsfree carkit (Blue Alert) by Bluetooth

(this specific Bluetooth

function is not supported by every
mobile phone)
In this case, it is the Blue Alert itself that retrieves the contacts from your mobile phone via Bluetooth
®
.
How to proceed ?
Step 1: on the Blue Alert.
Make sure that the Blue Alert is paired with your mobile phone.

Press and hold the

MODE button (4) for 3 seconds.
You will hear: “
•
Phonebook deleted
” and the blue LED indicator (5) will light continuously (= Blue Alert starts copy-
ing the contacts).
As soon as the contacts are saved into the Blue Alert, you will hear: ‘
•
Contact(s) saved’

(*) This can take several minutes. (Depending on which type of mobile phone you have and the size of your phone
book, this could take more than 10 minutes).
5. LED INDICATOR
(Can turn red/blue or red & blue)
Red indicator:
•
Flashes in Standby mode: low battery capacity
•
Lights continuously while charging the battery
•
Blue indicator:
•
Flashes in Standby mode
•
Lights continuously in Privacy mode
•
Lights continuously when receiving Phonebook memory
•
Red + blue indicator:
•
Flash alternately in Pairing mode
•
Light continuously in Mute mode (purple)
•
