Insert the SIM card - SIM card must be placed in a slot, according to the embossment
in the phone.
Insert the memory card. Micro SD card is to be placed with its gold contacts facing
down, the way in which the slot is inscribed and close the protective flap. The maximum
memory card supported capacity is 32 GB.
Insert the battery - the battery should be placed so that its three gold contacts touch
the triple connector in the phone bay. Gently replace the cover. Gently replace the
battery cover by sliding it back into place.
Charging the battery
Plug the microUSB plug on the charger cable into the microUSB socket on your phone
and plug the charger into a power outlet.
*Attention: Improper connection of the charger can cause serious damage to the
phone. Damages caused by an improper use of the phone are not covered by the
warranty.
While charging, a static icon of battery state located in upper right corner of the screen
will become animated. When charging is complete unplug the charger from the power
outlet. Unplug the cable from the socket on the phone.
Keypad lock
The keypad locks itself automatically after the time set by the user. It can also be
locked manually. To do this, press the <Menu> or <OK> button and then press the <*>
button. To unlock the keyboard (when the display is blanked) one should press any
button to activate the screen then press <unlock> button (located at the bottom left
corner of the display), followed by the <*> button on the keyboard. The keypad is
unlocked.
Sounds and user profiles
To change sound profile select: [Menu] > [Profiles]. From the list, select the desired
sound profile and confirm your selection by pressing <OK> to activate the selected
profile, or [Options] > [Assign] > <OK> to edit the profile according to your preferences.
The <#> button is used to quickly switch profiles in the standby mode. Press it and
hold for about 2 seconds, until an icon of given profile is displayed in the upper part
of screen.
